Tanasi Arts & Heritage Center values its volunteers. We want to assure you that we appreciate your contribution to our organization. We are dedicated to ensuring that you have a quality volunteer experience which is both productive and rewarding. We agree to accept the volunteer services of anyone who shares our mission, which is to celebrate Appalachian culture and heritage while at the same time promoting regional entrepreneurship along with socioeconomic and environmental sustainability.
As part of a National Endowment for the Arts "Our Town" grant, the Tanasi Arts & Heritage Center will be conducting a year long program of events that highlight Functional Artways of Appalachia. This series of events will be organized by a program director who will coordinate the work of an event organizer for each monthly event in partnership with other regional art organizations. Volunteers will be a critical element of success for this project. We hope you can join us.
