Barbara “Jake” Wilson

Barbara "Jake" Wilson of Unicoi, TN works in watercolor and just recently acrylics. She is an award winning artist whose work can be seen in art galleries in the southeast and in private
collections thorough the country. She is a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society, Watauga Valley Art League, Kingsport Art Guild and Depot Artists Association, Abington, Through the years she attended art classes in Greenwich, Connecticut, Winston-Salem and Hickory, North Carolina. After moving back to Greeneville in 1999, her love of Watercolor accelerated after finding an inspiring class in Johnson City taught by locally renowned artist Urban Bird. She also has attended several workshops including workshops with Harry Tompson and Robin Poteet. |
