Yvonne expresses her creativity primarily through the world of fibers.
You may find her shaping fabric into one-of-a-kind, wearable art garments and purses or dying elegant silk to create clothing, wall hangings, and scarves.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio and was launched into a life of travel four short years later when her family re-located to the West coast for several years, then returning to Dayton. Later, the family moved to southern Florida where she finished school and subsequently enjoyed living in many parts of the USA. She has traveled abroad more than a dozen times and also lived in Mexico and Greece.

Yvonne is a self-taught seamstress and began sewing at the age of 12. She founded the Northeast, TN Chapter of the American Sewing Guild in order to share her love of sewing with others. She is the mother of three sons, two who served in the US Air Force and one in the US Army.
She is currently writing a book about her childhood transition from living in a bustling northern city to moving into a small, coastal, southern community.
Yvonne and husband, Rob Martin, enjoy their home and creative studio in Erwin, TN.
