Shar is a teacher by profession and a student by heart. Her father instilled in her a love of nature and learning, but untold people have contributed to her journey through life. Most remarkable Bob, her husband and best friend of many years.

Bob and Shar built a log cabin in their beloved Blue Ridge Mountains, overlooking a pristine lake. They love roaming the woods together, or just sitting quietly by a creek. They live to give, learn, and grow.
