Carol C. Jackson is a native of Sullivan County, Tennessee. After her retirement from the school system, she has enjoyed creative writing and attending many writing workshops. Since 2003, she has authored and published three children's books:  "Georgie the Gifted Giraffe," "The Adventures of Little Jacky Bear, " and ," Devlin's Valley & Other Stories." She has two books of poetry, "My Way, " and, "My Way II."

 Carol has been a member of the Lost State Writers Guild of Northeast Tennessee for 23 years.
