Brittany began her journey with fiber arts while working on a Cashmere goat farm and yarn shop. She had always had a love of felt and felt pieces so she purchased one of the shops needle felting kits. With a little practice she had soon created her first needle felted piece, a snowy owl.
She continued needle felting and eventually started her own farm in Unicoi, complete with a lama that provides wool for many of her felted pieces. Needle felting is a time intensive art form that become cathartic as you get to repeatedly stab something over and over. |
